An inspiring song with an uplifting message, Someone has the sonical feel-good elements that delivers a certain warmth to the soul, enough to lift the spirit even on the rainiest of days.

The track has a timid opening with the strumming of an acoustic guitar before an injection of drums and vocals to round off a full fledged, wholesome melody and rhythm. While Shafto is more than capable of standing on his own, the addition of O’Brien brings a fresh and welcomed perspective to the track, with both singers complementing each other as they weave throughout the three-minute piece.

With plenty of life experience under his belt, the Clare-based rapper wanted to ensure that Someone truly has an impact on one’s life by instilling a sense of self-belief and motivation through the track’s lyrics.
